According to the Egyptian General Authority of Meteorology, satellite imagery indicates that an intense heat wave will persist across most regions on Tuesday, with scorching temperatures dominating the day.
The Meteorological Authority forecasts the highest maximum temperatures across the Republic as follows on Tuesday:
- Greater Cairo and Lower Egypt: 37°C
- Northern coasts: 30°C
- South Sinai: 40°C
- North Upper Egypt: 39°C
- South Upper Egypt: 44°C
Monday will see a continuation of the intense heat wave across the nation, with very hot conditions prevailing throughout the day in most areas. Coastal regions will experience hot weather, while temperatures will moderate at night in the northern parts of the country. South Sinai and South Upper Egypt will remain hot.
Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, the northern coasts, canal cities, central Sinai, and northern Upper Egypt may witness weather activity.

- Greater Cairo: Highs of 37°C, Lows of 24°C
- Alexandria: Highs of 30°C, Lows of 22°C
- Matrouh: Highs of 29°C, Lows of 21°C
- Sohag: Highs of 42°C, Lows of 27°C
- Qena: Highs of 45°C, Lows of 28°C
- Aswan: Highs of 45°C, Lows of 29°C
